TUSEV was established in 1993 by Turkey’s leading CSOs, and has now grown to a supporting network of over 100 associations and foundations that share a vision of strengthening the legal, fiscal and operational infrastructure of the third (non-profit) sector in Turkey.
Over the past fifteen years, Turkey’s third sector has taken on a heightened momentum of growth and expansion and civil society organizations have taken on a new role as a critical element in an emerging democracy. The number of CSOs being formed continues to grow and they operate at increasing sophistication. With this growth comes a need for more support- more human and financial resources, better management skills, and most importantly, a more enabling environment.
