Sodalitas Foundation

Introduction to the Partner

Sodalitas Foundation was born in 1995 to build a bridge between companies and nonprofit organisations.

The idea was created by Assolombarda, the biggest territorial association of Italian Industrial Union, on the occasion of its 50th anniversary.

Soon, 14 companies and 10 managers accept to take on such an innovative challenge, the name of which is Sodalitas Foundation: something that is today still unique in Italy, combining both social responsible engagement of companies and managers towards a common target: to improve the social cohesion in Italy.

Nowadays Sodalitas Foundation has 79 leading companies in the market of sustainable engagement among its ranks, with 80 voluntary managers.

Sodalitas Foundation works closely with companies, developing projects to promote Corporate Sustainability on the Italian market.
The Foundation creates innovative projects and solutions with the companies in the 4 dimensions of Sustainability: Environment, Community, Workplace, Marketplace. Sodalitas Foundation is credited as reference point for an ever growing vast group of companies willing to build a sustainable future.

Sodalitas Foundation works closely with nonprofit organisation, supported in developing a managerial capacity.
The Foundation offers free “on demand” managerial consultant services to nonprofit organizations and develops system projects for the global improvement in the Third Sector.

Sodalitas Foundation is close to young people, helping in passing from school to work.

Testimonial

We have a deep passion for seeing really dynamic effective corporate responsibility all over the world - it's core to our values and central to our business. So being in from the start with CSR360 GPN was an obvious route for KPMG to help spread the energy and the opportunity for transformed communities where business plays its rightful role driving change and supporting the people and the places who are often forgotten and frequently in need of business engagement. Its our privilege to be involved.
