Introduction to the Partner

The Singapore Compact for CSR is a national society whose key mission is to provide a multi-stakeholder platform for collaboration, in developing coordinated and effective strategies to promote CSR policies and practices in Singapore. This is done through ongoing dialogues, training, research, and many other project implementations. The Singapore Compact is also participant and focal point of the UN Global Compact.

Together with businesses, government, trade unions, consultants, and academia, we provide a network for collaboration to advance the commitment and contribution of companies. We will continue to:

• Raise awareness of global issues, trends and developments concerning CSR and sustainable development through local and international seminars.
• Raise awareness of socially responsible practices in companies based in Singapore, encouraging them to communicate their commitment, practice and measurable benefits.
• Explore new social models of social innovation and CSR in Asian context
• Build capacity, helping companies to take practical steps forwards planning, developing and implementing CSR together with CSR consultants in Singapore.
• Share experiences and insights from companies at various stages in the CSR journey through case studies and forums for practitioners and students who will be active stakeholders to bring CSR forward in future.
