Introduction to the Partner

Pro Vobis works to promote volunteerism as a viable resource for solving community problems and to develop volunteerism through training, consultancy, research and networking.
Pro Vobis has over 10 years experience in developing volunteerism in Romania. The organisation positioned itself in the last 5 years as the reference organization for volunteerism stakeholders: local volunteer centers, volunteer involving organisations, public authorities and institutions, companies and citizens.

Pro Vobis achieves its mission by following three main lines of action:

  1. Promoting the concept and practice of volunteering in Romania;
  2. Developing the infrastructure for volunteering;
  3. Professionalising the volunteer management process.

Pro Vobis is a member of the European Volunteer Center (CEV), a network of national and regional volunteering development agencies across Europe, and has a representative in the Board of Directors of CEV since 2005.
