Philias is a non-profit foundation located in Geneva whose mission is to promote Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in Switzerland. Through consulting services and training sessions, our foundation helps corporations to measure their impact on their social environment and reduce the negative impact of it.
For Philias, CSR is the company’s responsibility towards its stakeholders. Corporations have to manage this responsibility by having a constant and constructive dialogue with those stakeholders, and contribute to the social and environmental well-being of the community in which they operate.
Companies willing to commit themselves in the field of CSR in a sustainable way can join the Philias CSR network. 28 companies (Banque Cantonale Vaudoise, British American Tobacco Switzerland, Centreinfo, Crédit Agricole (Suisse) SA, Diageo, Firmenich, HSBC Private Bank,(Suisse) SA, Johnson & Johnson, JTI, KPMG, L’Oréal (Suisse) SA, Lombard Odier Darier Hentsch, Manor, Manpower, Merrill Lynch, MCI, Microsoft, Nestlé, Novartis, PRO Entreprise Sociale Privée, Randstad, Rentes Genevoises, SC Johnson, Swiss Re, Syngenta, Union Bancaire Privée and Zurich) are currently part of Philias network and signed our charter with specific elements of continuous improvement in the field of CSR.
