LEAD is an international non-profit organisation with a fast growing network of over 1900 leaders in more than 90 countries. Our shared mission is to inspire leadership and change for a sustainable world.
Since our inception in 1991, we have been searching for outstanding people worldwide, developing their leadership potential through our innovative training programmes and working with them to mobilise others to make a real difference to the future of this planet.
LEAD offices across the world deliver research and training programmes. Using LEAD’s experiential learning approach, our participants learn through multi-stakeholder dialogue, systems thinking, and inclusive cross-cultural processes.
We train business executives, government officials, academics, NGO directors, activists, educationalists and media professionals. Our global faculty includes top-level experts and international practitioners who work at the cutting edge of sustainable development issues and leadership studies.
Through the LEAD network, we promote dialogue, knowledge sharing and exchange around key sustainability challenges. We also support the action of individuals and organisations, by brokering relationships that enable LEAD Fellows and others to engage in projects that address socio-economic and environmental issues.
LEAD has programmes in Anglophone West Africa, Brazil, Canada, China, Commonwealth of Independent States, Europe, Francophone Africa, India, Indonesia, Japan, Mexico, Pakistan, Southern and Eastern Africa.
As a part of the learning journey for Cohort 14 & 15 associates, LEAD India completed its 2nd National Training Session of its ongoing flagship Cohort Program in Leh, Ladakh during 16-23 September.

Do you think that Business Schools and Colleges should have an obligation to offer high quality courses and diplomas on responsible business practice?
Lord Michael Hastings of Scarisbrick CBEWe have a deep passion for seeing really dynamic effective corporate responsibility all over the world - it's core to our values and central to our business. So being in from the start with CSR360 GPN was an obvious route for KPMG to help spread the energy and the opportunity for transformed communities where business plays its rightful role driving change and supporting the people and the places who are often forgotten and frequently in need of business engagement. Its our privilege to be involved.
