IARSE - FUNDACION INSTITUTO ARGENTINO DE RESPONSABILIDAD SOCIAL EMPRESARIA

Introduction to the Partner

The Argentinean Institute for Corporate Social Responsibility (Instituto Argentino de Responsabilidad Social Empresaria, IARSE) was created in 2002, with the mission to “promote and disseminate Corporate Social Responsibility concepts and practices to foster a sustainable development in Argentina”.

IARSE is a private, non-profit organisation, rooted in the city of Córdoba, Argentina, with a national scope and strong ties with similar organizations in Latin America and around the world.

It was created with the initial support of W. K. Kellogg Foundation from the United States of America, and AVINA from Switzerland, and today an increasing group of companies supports it in order to fulfill its institutional mission.

Among our main objectives, we would like to mention the following:

  • Contact and motivate different audiences to disseminate the concept and to promote CSR practices in Argentina.
  • Gather together, process and disseminate CSR-relevant information in order to generate public knowledge on this matter.
  • Assist companies (big and SMEs) in the implementation of their particular CSR Plans and Programs.
  • Identify, train and accompany leadership fostering the CSR concept and practice.
  • Promote and strengthen the creation of a national network for Corporate Social Responsibility.

We have developed a membership system, orientated to companies committed with CSR and willing to improve their practices in this field.

Testimonial

We have a deep passion for seeing really dynamic effective corporate responsibility all over the world - it's core to our values and central to our business. So being in from the start with CSR360 GPN was an obvious route for KPMG to help spread the energy and the opportunity for transformed communities where business plays its rightful role driving change and supporting the people and the places who are often forgotten and frequently in need of business engagement. Its our privilege to be involved.
