Introduction to the Partner
The mission of HESTIA National Volunteer Centre (NVC) is to support and further the concept of volunteering in the Czech Republic.HESTIA NVC co-ordinates the Coalition of Volunteer Initiatives in the Czech Republic. It has over 50 members and also organises specific volunteer projects such as Big Brothers Big Sisters (PET P in the CR), Volunteers in Hospitals, Programmes for the Unemployed, European Volunteer Service and Corporate Volunteering Programmes such as ENGAGE.
HESTIA NVC actively engages in research, training and educational programmes for non-profit organisations. It also organises and hosts international and national conferences and works as a broker for international and local businesses by implementing corporate volunteering projects.
