Fundacion Compromiso

Introduction to the Partner

Fundación Compromiso was born in 1994 to serve social organisations. Nowadays, this means to assess management and change processes to generate more proactive, efficient and articulated strategies, to produce tangible improvements in people, institutions and communities. In 2003, Empresa & Comunidad Department is created with the aim to work on promotion and strengthening of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) as a practice for sustainable development, through dialogue and project implementation between social sector, business and public sector.
Our definition of CSR is the construction of a trust based relationship between companies and society that develops through policies, programs and activities that materialize in a long term business management.
This compromise with society implies a new management model: the capacity of companies to listen, understand and satisfy the different stakeholder’s expectations, in a framework of shared rules or values.

We work around two strategic lines:

  1. Business community involvement through partnerships: Giving technical assistance and training to companies in the design, implementation and evaluation of CSR plans, programs and projects.
  2. Advocacy for a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Agenda: Promoting CSR through debate and knowledge exchange to develop an agenda based in Argentinean and Latin American problems and context.

Testimonial

We have a deep passion for seeing really dynamic effective corporate responsibility all over the world - it's core to our values and central to our business. So being in from the start with CSR360 GPN was an obvious route for KPMG to help spread the energy and the opportunity for transformed communities where business plays its rightful role driving change and supporting the people and the places who are often forgotten and frequently in need of business engagement. Its our privilege to be involved.
