History
The East Europe Foundation is a Kyiv-based international charitable foundation established in 2007. EEF seeks to carry on the development work of its founder, Eurasia Foundation, which invested more than $44 million in Ukraine over 15 years. With an independent board of directors and a highly-skilled staff of 15, EEF implements economic, community and social development programs for more than 30 donors, including USAID, European governments, multilateral organisations, foundations and corporations working in Ukraine. EEF’s development philosophy is founded on building the capacity of local organisations, creating sustainable partnerships and directing development resources into the hands of local communities.
