Introduction to the Partner

Founded in 1995, Canadian Business for Social Responsibility (CBSR) is a non-profit, member-led organisation whose mission is to advance the Canadian corporate agenda around the full spectrum of social and environmental responsibility.

CBSR provides its members, among Canada’s corporate leaders, with networking and learning opportunities, and customised advisory services as they formulate powerful business decisions that improve performance and contribute to a better world.

The most experienced CSR organisation in Canada, CBSR actively defines and promotes the responsible business agenda by:

• Developing and implementing CSR strategies to mobilise companies on key issues;
• Providing CSR learning and networking opportunities that illustrate best practice and case studies, including the annual CBSR Summit on CSR, the CSR Expert Series and access to an international network of CSR organizations;
• Advancing key CSR issues through the creation of CSR tools, such as the Climate Change Guide, and our corporate community engagement program, Seeing is Believing.
