The Business & Community Foundation (BCF) is a civil society organisation registered in 1998 under the Societies Registration Act 1860. It was established in New Delhi by eminent persons and has been one of the pioneers in the area of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in India.
BCF is an independent civil society organisation with a diverse Board and does not represent any corporate house nor is a spokesperson for any sector. BCF has a unique concept of corporate engagement through memberships. BCF works in cooperation with its members. The membership entails consulting time and advisory inputs from BCF on CSR. BCF facilitates partnerships working with over 200 organisations in the country, between NGOs, Corporates, State & (and) Civil Society organisations to benefit marginalised & disadvantaged communities.
