Introduction to the Partner

ARC works as a support organisation for companies and non profit organisation that want to generate impact in the communities they serve. ARC helps businesses to develop strategic corporate community involvement initiatives, focused on benefits both for the company and the community. In the same time, ARC supports NGOs and fundraising professionals to efficiently mobilize local resources from individual and corporate donors.

Some of the main projects and initiatives of ARC are: London Benchmarking Group, People for People Gala, CCI Winter School, the Social Marketplace, the Post Graduate course on fundraising, consultancy services for companies for internalizing CCI mechanisms such as payroll giving schemes, consultancy services for NGOs on fundraising, and research projects to understand the environment for local resource mobilisation.

ARC started its activity in 2001, serving mainly the non profit sector, through in depth training and coaching on fundraising related issues and also by researching issues related to the giving behavior in Romania. Later, realising that is not sufficient to work only with one “actor” involved the act of giving, ARC extended its area of expertise and developed the CCI and Community Foundation programs. All ARC initiatives are strongly based on the qualitative and quantitative researches that offer the background for all organisational interventions in supporting its target groups.

For this, ARC builds the capacity of and relations between existing actors involved in private giving and fundraising, creates and develops new specialised institutions and promotes a supportive environment for the resource mobilisation field in Romania.
