Introduction to the Partner

Accion RSE is a non profit member company organisation created by the private sector in May 2000 to promote CSR practices in Chile. Our mission is to mobilise, sensitise and help companies to run their businesses in a socially responsible way, generating a sustainable development.

We have five main company oriented action areas, which are ethics and corporate governance, workplace, environment, supply chain, and community.

Our activities focus on information dissemination via the organisation of seminars, workshops, expert meetings, courses, newsletters and conferences on CSR topics:

• Annual Conference that gathers together an average of 500 businessmen around the latest CSR topics and case studies.
• Monthly meetings with keynote speakers to discuss different issues about national and global themes and perspectives.
• Publication of practical guides on CSR topics for companies.
• Annual Prize for the Best Sustainability Report in Chile.
• Working groups on different CSR topics with the member companies.
• Annual Conference with students of universities to promote CSR practices.
• Associative projects amongst companies, government and the academy towards diminishing the obesity levels in the country (NutriRSE) and strengthening the educational levels (EducaRSE).
