In partnership with Prefectural University of Kumamoto and the Hitoyoshi city office, IEC held their first volunteer guide cultivation seminar which was also supported by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport.
The 1st seminar was held on October 25 and will be held every month till February, next year. 60 delegates attended altogether, from NPOs, college students, city workers and businessman. Attendees heard lectures from the Chairman of Prefectural University of Kumamoto, who covered the meaning of social activity and the Japanese Park & Green Association Research Adviser. The participants listened to the lectures eagerly and the event was a great success.
