The Canadian Embassy & Fundahrse organize a workshop for SMEs

The Canadian Embassy and our partner, The Honduran Foundation for Corporate Social Responsibility (FUNDAHRSE) organized the workshop SMEs, an agent of change in Sustainable Development.

The objective of the workshop was to raise awareness and provide practical tools that allow SMEs to develop actions to strengthen their management of corporate social responsibility.

The workshop was given by Miriam Tróchez, who is a Fundahrse’s facilitator. She explained and demonstrated topics related to business environment, evolution of CSR, regulations associated with the Sustainable Development Goals, business models based on CSR and due diligence.

The Canadian Embassy presented its CSR Strategy and the success case of the SME Industrias Metálicas Junior who shared their experience during the implementation of CSR actions and the results they obtained.

“Fundahrse, through the SME Development Unit and as a CSR focal point in Honduras, seeks to make every company implement CSR integrally in order to make it part of its DNA, align it with the business vision and to make them work with transparency and promote good practices involving their stakeholders”, said Elena Quiroz, Business Development Director in Fundahrse
