Seres Foundation –the Responsible Business Society- has launched a new website platform to share CSR knowledge between stakeholders. This new tool was presented in 9 May 2012 during an event hosted in ESADE headquarters in Madrid.
For its creation, Seres Foundation has counted on enterprises such as Accenture, Everis, Microsoft and The Boston Consuting Group wich have taken part in the whole creation process.
The new site will provide all stakeholders an online meeting point for communicating and sharing CSR knowledge in order to keep on building Seres Foundation’s main goal of creating value from social actions. This new tool will allow companies, NGOs and public authorities showing their working activity, seeking information on CSR (by theme, content type, entities…), detecting social needs, contacting with colleagues from other institutions and finding future collaborations.
The beta version for the tool, which is a month old, has over 500 files and over 100 organizations have already registered on the site and uploaded their own profile.
The new platform presentation event, which took place the 9th of May, was attended by Juan Arena, president of Seres Foundation; Vicente Moreno, president of Accenture; Cesar Torres, director of Technology Everis; Mary Garaña, president at Microsoft and Patrick Ramos, Partner and Managing Director at BCG. All of them showed their thoughts about the new developed tool, as they took part in its building process:
“This platform aims to keep in touch all those stakeholders who want to improve social action in this country”, noted John Arena.
According to Maria Garaña, this platform “is the most important cornerstone of collaboration and productivity that any company could have”. “This project will allow people to do great things in the future”, said Vicente Moreno.
Thanks to this project, all stakeholders will be able to share knowledge in order to turn Spain into a leader in corporate social responsibility, to help others improving and to develop a better CSR Strategy.
