Posted: Thursday 30 June 16, 9.50am GMT

A new project has been carried out by Rothlin Ltd to deepen the understanding of donor-recipient philanthropy relationships

Rothlin Ltd has recently launched a new project:

The China Philanthropy Project (CPP) seeks a deeper and more comprehensive understanding of donor-recipients relationships, with the primary goal to understand the cross-cultural challenges involved in sustaining such relationships, in order to improve them, so that corporate philanthropy can become more cost effective and thus more widely practiced.
Rothlin Ltd., in partnership with the University of International Business and Economics (UIBE) in Beijing and the European Chamber of Commerce’s CSR Forum, hosted two seminars in 2015 and received constructive and encouraging feedback from the attendees. The attendees comprised of CSR managers, NGO representatives, media professionals and academic experts.

The Pilot Phase for the project consisted of interviewing 7 corporations and NGOs. Phase 1, which is now underway, seeks further participants to join the interview process and share their valuable experiences.
