It is a follow-up piece to the “Managers 500 and responsible business. Knowledge – approach – practice” analysis conducted in 2003 by Responsible Business Forum in cooperation with the World Bank and The Academy for the Development of Philanthropy in Poland. This year’s partner in the research project is international company that specializes in implementing sustainable development in companies’ strategies, GoodBrand & Company Poland.

The research project “Managers 500” will be conducted among management staff of the companies listed on the 500 biggest companies in Poland list. The research objective is to define current shape and level of knowledge about corporate social responsibility among the Polish market leaders.

“Responsible Business Forum has been supporting development of responsible business in Poland for ten years. Managers 500 / CSR Leader is a unique opportunity to verify Polish managers’ approach and awareness in this area, as they are main factors influencing values that are directing companies in Poland. We are hoping that the research will provide us with new knowledge and inspirations, which are indispensable for a successful CSR development in Poland.” – Mirella Panek-Owsiańska, President and General Director of the Responsible Business Forum said.

Over the years, the idea of CSR in Poland has been evolving changing the approach and expectations of all the market participants. “With this research we wish to analyze how the CSR awareness of Polish managers has changed, and how Corporate Community Involvement is viewed from the long-term perspective.” – Paweł Niziński, Managing Partner of GoodBrand & Company Polska said. “This research uniqueness results from the fact that it will allow us to define current CSR benchmarks based on opinions of the most important players of the Polish market”.
