Only a few tickets left for the Sedex Global Responsible Sourcing Conference – 25th March 2015

From global brands to local suppliers, Sedex’s annual conference brings together hundreds of sustainable supply chain professionals from around the world to collaborate, share best practice and discuss trends shaping responsible sourcing.

The theme for the 2015 conference will be “Supplying the future: supply chains & the post-2015 development agenda.”

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are set to shape the global remit for social, economic and environmental development, promising ‘a truly transformative agenda’. Sedex’s Global Responsible Sourcing Conference 2015 will focus on key themes from the proposed SDGs to explore the challenges and opportunities these will create for buyers and suppliers around the world.

The morning keynote address will be given by Georg Kell, Executive Director, UN Global Compact.

The afternoon keynote address will be given by Rani Hong, UN Special Advisor and President of the Tronie Foundation. Rani is a survivor of child trafficking and one of the world’s leading voices in the fight against modern-day slavery.

Other speakers include thought leaders from BNP Paribas, BSR, CDP, CRT-Japan, DFID, ELEVATE, ETI, Forum for the Future, GLA, Marks & Spencer, Partner Africa, Pepsico, Perrigo, Nestle, Tesco, Responsible Investor, Transparency International, Unseen, UN Women UK, Walk Free Foundation, World Resources Institute and the Zoological Society of London.
