National Volunteer Centre’s first pro bono marathon in Hungary

Posted: Friday 18 March 16, 9.44am GMT

The first creative pro bono marathon in Hungary was jointly organised by the National Volunteer Centre (ÖKA) and the Association of Communication Agencies in Hungary (MAKSZ). At the event, five Hungarian NGOs benefited from the pro bono communications, design and web-based support of seven leading Hungarian advertising and communications agencies.

During the day the different teams elaborated in detail the communications, business, fundraising and campaign strategies of a range of projects that will be launched in the near future, the projects were:

  • Skool / Foundation for Technology Education, TEN Media / Local Time PR

  • One Drop Attention Foundation, Isobar Budapest

  • Adopt a TeddyBear Foundation, Young & Rubicam Budapest

  • Slow Budapest Association, Artificial Group / Uniomedia

  • BAGázs Association, Springer & Jacoby Budapest
  • The successful event shows that, with proper preparatory work, a creative marathon can be successful in Hungary.
