Emmanuel De Lutzel - Head of Global Microfinance for BNP Paribas offers his views and reflections on the role of Microfinance in creating a more sustainable future.

Emmanuel is in charge of international microfinance for BNP Paribas Bank in Paris, providing loans to microfinance organisations which finance small entrepreneurs in developing countries. He says:
In a world where over one billion people live on less than a dollar a day, microfinance is a powerful tool in the fight against poverty and exclusion.
