In 2008 ARC launched the LBG service for Romanian companies. The role of the program is to assist companies in their intentions to improve the efficiency of their CCI programs. Thus, ARC obtained the accreditation as Country Facilitator for the service and created the pioneers group for the first implementation year.
London Benchmarking Group (LBG) is the first measurement and benchmarking service for evaluating the community involvement performance for Romanian companies.
What is the LBG service?
LBG Service includes two main components which focus on performance measurement and raising the community practice efficiency based on corporate objectives and other peer companies practice:
- Efficiency measurement instrument for CCI programs, consisting of (a) an off-line system for data collection, (b) reporting format of invested resources and results generated in the community and company, © technical assistance for data collection, (d) annual report with data analysis presenting the company’s position regarding its objectives, its evolution in time, and recommendations for raising the programs efficiency.
- Practitioners network for sharing CCI practice which (a) involves the LBG Romania members in four annual meetings on issues directly associated to their CCI practice; (b) invites members to discussions with international professionals in the field, © offers access to the members only LBG website, (d) creates access to Romanian and international case studies, thus offering opportunities for learning, (e) includes an annual group report of LBG Romania, which includes aggregate data for all LBG members.
