Responsible Business Forum presents “Diversity management in Poland“ Report, a publication which is the first attempt to analyze diversity management in Poland.
The Report was created as a part of a European CSR/Diversity Report within the framework of the CSR Diversity Project. The report has been drawn up based on: analyzing reports, prepared from 2004 until 2008 by the Responsible Business Forum titled “Responsible Business in Poland. Good Practices” containing descriptions of the most interesting Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives in Poland; research results from the Gender Index Project which had led to the creation of the first Polish tool for analyzing jobs in the context of equal opportunities for men and women (The Gender Index indicator), having examined about 150 companies in the following competitions: “Equal Opportunities Company 2006” and “Equal Opportunities Company 2007”; the report titled “Social Responsibility of Business in Poland. Initial Analysis”, as well as in-depth interview conducted with the representatives of 7 companies, selected by the author on the basis of Responsible Business Forum consent and the abovementioned analyses and research efforts.
The report focuses on the following subject matters:
- Economic, legal, social and cultural conditions of CSR and diversity management in Poland.
- The role of key CSR/diversity stakeholders in Poland.
- Good practices within the scope of diversity and equal opportunities management, described on the basis of in-depth interviews.
