CSR Asia will run two workshops on reporting and community investment in June

CSR Asia, a member of the CSR 360 Global Partner Network, has programmed two workshops about reporting standards and community investment that will take place during the month of June.

The first workshop, named Reporting and Communications , will train participants on the international reporting standards and how to deliver sustainability messages effectively to support business objectives. It will take place on June 5th 2012 in Singapore.

Some of the topics included in this course are:

  • Identifying the key issues on which to report
  • Transparency and accountability
  • Developing priorities through stakeholder engagement
  • International reporting standards
  • Global Reporting Initiative (GRI)
  • Tools and strategies to deliver an effective sustainability message
  • Tailoring reporting solutions to meet a company’s unique needs
  • Measuring and reporting on community investment
  • Reporting CSR activities to key stakeholders
  • Developing an effective communications plan
  • Case studies of successful reporting strategies

On June 6th 2012, CSR Asia will present Investing for Impact: tools and approaches for Community Investment ; an interactive and participatory workshop which will provide attendees with the ability to develop and improve their projects, engage various stakeholders and identify opportunities in untapped markets. Case studies and practical exercises will be used throughout the course to help them develop a new skill set.

This second course takes place in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) and includes the following topics:

  • Learn about best practice in companies’ contributions to poverty alleviation
  • Identify opportunities and partnerships which make sense for your company
  • Engage community stakeholders
  • Understand how employee volunteering can play a role
  • Learn how to measure inputs, outputs and impact
