Felipe Lira, the board director at AccionRSE and Ignacio Larraechea, the general manager of the organisation have travelled to Quito (Ecuador) in order to attend the 9th American Conference on Corporate Social Responsibility – CSRAméricas 2012 during this week.

CSRAméricas event seeks to promote sustainable and equitable development in Latin America and the Caribbean regions and stands out as a sharing platform for responsible business practices.
Each year CSRAméricas brings together about 1,000 participants from business, government and civil society organizations from over 35 countries. In particular, the call is divided into three themes:
- Inclusive business: Taking advantage of Value Chains
- Partnerships for Development
- Knowledge and communication tools for CSR
CSRAméricas is a three-day event that began on Monday May 21st. It includes plenary and parallel sessions, and institutional presentations. The topics discussed during the event are set by the Advisory Council and the Multilateral Investment Fund specialists from the Inter-American Development Bank, taking into account the suggestions of the local counterpart and participants from previous conferences.
