51 projects dedicated to increasing employment highly acclaimed in Forética’s Enterprise 2020

During the launch event for the European Pact for youth, promoting youth employment in Spain, Forética, highlighted 51 high-impact projects that have successfully increased employment opportunities in the country. Forética recognized this initiatives as part of their wider involvement with the European Initiative Enterprise 2020.

The projects involve more than 1,400 companies and more than 100 educational institutions, with more than 135,000 beneficiaries. Other relevant indicators include almost 700,000 hours of training, 21 sectors represented and 34 million euros invested in these projects.

The event also served to present the European Pact for Youth, led by the European Commission together with CSR Europe, which Forética is implementing in Spain. The initiative aims to promote collaboration and education to increase employability and job inclusion for young people.

In the words of the Commissioner of Employment, Marianne Thyssen, who has thanked Foretica for their efforts, “business-education partnerships are the glue of modern vocational education and training. I’m very happy that we can count on Spain’s support to make this happen on the ground through the European Pact for Youth”. Its Chief of Staff, Stefaan Hermans, presented the Youth Pact and called on Spanish companies to sign it and join this initiative.
