Industrial Civil Engineer from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and Master in Direction and Excellence School Management of Universidad del Desarrollo, Rafael Quiroga is the current General Manager of Acción RSE –business member organization dedicated to promote Corporate Social Responsibility in Chile.

He is member of the Board of Directors of Santo Domingo Country School and consultant in strategic planning and management control. He currently keeps educational, art and web personalized clothing design related enterprises. 

Quiroga started his career in the Study Area of Cidef ( Nissan Motor in Chile ) , to then become an account manager at Banco Nacional ( Now Bank BBVA in Chile ) , where he moved up to vice General Manager. Afterwards, he obtained the General Manager position at Contex Limited ( VF Corporation in Chile ) , connected to the brands Wrangler, Lee, Riders, Jansport, etc. In 1998 he left to assume the Sales and Marketing Director of El Mercurio ( Main Newspapers chain in Chile )  Between 2001 and 2006 he performed as General Manager of Empresas Torre S.A. ( Office and School Supplies )

Active sportsman and event organizer, Rafael Quiroga brought Triathlon and Mountainbike events to Chile between years 1984 and 1997. Besides his executive and entrepreneur activities, he produced hundreds of national and international events for almost two decades with his enterprise Ultrasport. He was the first President of the Triathlon Chilean Federation , becoming the only Latin-American to fill a position at the Board of the International Triathlon Union –global organization that led the inclusion of Triathlon into the Olympic Games.
