Head of Department on Youth Work at Magistrate of the Capital City of Wiesbaden
Hildegunde Reche is Head of the Department on Youth Work at the Magistrate of the Capital City of Wiesbaden.
She has worked for the Magistrate of the Capital City of Wiesbaden since 1980. She was engaged for many in years in social work at a homeless shelter and in the most disadvantaged urban district in the City of Wiesbaden before taking over the Head of the Department on Youth Work.
In 2000 she established a Corporate Citizenship Bureau as unit of the Department on Youth Work. The main task of the bureau is to facilitate networking and exchange of business and community organisations and to broker cross-sector partnerships. In the following years Hildegunde was responsible for the initiation and implementation of several highly successful programmes in the City of Wiesbaden, including a business community action day, a business mentoring scheme for disadvantaged youth, a local award scheme for responsible businesses and a local community investment network.
