Gemma Gosling is the Research and Development Coordinator for the Regeneration and Social Policy Team at Business in the Community’s head office in London, UK. Business in the Community is a unique movement of over 800 of the UK’s top companies committed to improving their positive impact on society. Business in the Community inspires, engages, supports and challenges companies to continually improve the impact they have on society and the environment through their responsible business programmes.
Gemma is responsible for supporting the three-year partnership project between Business in the Community and the UK’s Department of Health. This programme of work aims to engage the private sector in the recommendations arising from the World Health Organisation’s Commission on Social Determinants of Health, which includes working with the Global Partner Network and tackling issues such as fair employment, decent work, gender equality and market responsibility.
