Dr. Arun K. Pande is currently Head of TCS Innovation Lab in Mumbai.

Dr. Pande has 25+ years of experience in conducting research, technology development, deployment and management.  Dr. Pande had been instrumental in generating Intellectual Property and deploying solutions based on state-of-the art technologies such as Video, Speech, Analytics,Wireless. Dr. Pande had been active in building technology teams and developing network with Academics and Research community.

Before Joining TCS, Dr. Pande had spent couple of years in Speech & Digital Systems group of Tata Institute of Fundamental Research.

Dr. Pande holds a Ph. D. degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Notre Dame, USA. His current research and business interests are Broadband services, Wireless Data Application, Speech & Script technologies based applications for the masses.

Dr. Pande’s current innovation on Mobile Based Advisory Services for the farmers has earned Grand Prize under Qualcomm’s Wireless Reach Program, Golden Peacock Innovation Award, India Innovation Initiative Award and Wall Street Journal Technology Innovation award under Wireless Category.

Dr. Pande is a Senior Member of IEEE and is serving on the Industry Advisory Board of WCET programme of IEEE.
