Başak Güçlü has Degrees in Market Research and Advertising, as well as Public Relations from the Istanbul University. Her career with non-governmental organizations commenced with the Turkish Committee of the United Nations Year of the Volunteers in 2001. While taking part as a project consultant on the Uluer Contribution to Society Strategy until 2005, she had a role in establishing the Private Sectors Volunteers Association (OSGD). In 2005, she commenced working as part of the Corporate Volunteer Association team as a Project Coordinator. Her role currently continues as the OSGD Coordinator. Başak is a member of the Contemporary Drama Association in Istanbul.
