The Primer focuses on depicting how central human rights are to a successful development of both the organization and the country in which it operates. It provides companies with a comprehensive explanation of the entire range of human rights contained in the UDHR, and offers useful illustrations of how these rights relate to business practices. Companies can use this publication as a reference when seeking to improve their understanding of how international human rights standards apply in a business context.The Primer, funded by Global Compact Society of India, is jointly developed by Partners in Change and BLIHR and is mainly focused on business conditions in India.
