European Employee Volunteering Awards: Case Study Report – Increasing the Employability skills of poeple facing barriers to work.
In response to the European Year of the Volunteer 2011, BITC organised a European wide Employee Volunteering Award which ran in 21 countries stretching from Ireland to Georgia. International and local companies competed at a national level in national award schemes which were run by expert partners of the CSR360 network. This case study report includes 60 case studies of the national award winners and the five European winners which were announced at the European Awards event in March 2011.
We hope that the case study booklet will inspire businesses to strive to create their own best practice programmes and help people who are facing barriers to work improve their employability skills.
