“Microfinance for a world in need” – A talk by Emmanuel de Lutzel

Emmanuel de Lutzel is in charge of international microfinance for BNP Paribas Bank in Paris, providing loans to microfinance organisations which finance small entrepreneurs in developing countries. He says: ‘In a world where over one billion people live on less than a dollar a day, microfinance is one of the most powerful tools in the fight against poverty and exclusion.’ He will talk about his work and his motivation. There will be an opportunity for questions and facilitated conversation following his talk.

The event is hosted jointly by the Greencoat Forums and Caux Initiatives for Business.

Light refreshments are available from 6.30pm and the talk begins at 7.15pm.

Seats are limited to 100 on a first-come-first-served basis.
