CSR Asia's logo

This high-energy event will provide an interactive platform for companies and non-profit organisations (NPOs) to exchange information on community investment (CI) projects and forge meaningful partnerships and relationships in a structured speed dating format. Facilitated by CSR Asia and NVPC, participants will share experiences and challenges faced when engaging in partnerships for community development, and learn practical tools in building partnership in a workshop setting. The workshop will be led by Mabel Wong, CSR Asia’s CI senior project manager, who has over 7 years of experience in the NGO sector. Mabel has worked extensively with government representatives, NGOs, companies, and UN bodies to provide technical assistance to Asian countries in the area of children’s issues.

The event does not aim to promote a specific form of engagement (e.g. volunteerism or fundraising) but provides an open platform for both parties to complement their interests in a mutually beneficial way. CSR Asia and NVPC hope that the event can trigger the launch of new partnerships that focus on capacity building and empowering communities
