One of Fundacion PROhumana’s main tasks since its creation 13 years ago has always been the promotion of education, learning and exchange spaces focused on corporate social responsibility. PROhumana has always tried to construct an inclusive society based on human sustainable development. This is why we are delighted to invite you to the 3rd Travelling Seminar on Corporate Social Responsibility taking place in October 2010 in London, UK.
General objective:
- To achieve a deep knowledge on what CSR and sustainability are through a direct contact with UK companies and organisations.
Specific Objectives:
- To establish contact with UK organisations and leading companies that promote and implement CSR.
- To learn about CSR implementation policies in the UK.
- To facilitate contact between Chilean visitors and English partners to strengthen the development of CSR practices and initiatives in Chile.
- To find concrete cases on business management based on CSR.
- To find concrete cases of employee volunteering promotion, community support, alliance construction between private, public and civil society sectors.
- To expand the knowledge regarding implementation of public policies that facilitate the social, economical and environmental development.
Activities:
- Suggested readings regarding CSR, England and CSR and the organisations that we will visit.
- Visits to diverse organisations and English companies in London
- Establishment of Networks between delegates and UK organisations
- Evaluation of the visits
